500 SERIES 

The primary series which has been developed and refined for nearly half a century. Its three camera models are designed for Hasselblad CF/CFE and CB lenses with built-in leaf shutters, providing shutter as well as flash sync speeds of up to 1/500 s.

The 503CW and 553ELX models are equipped with the Hasselblad TTL/OTF flash metering system. The 553ELX features a built-in motor, while the 503CW can be readily motorized by attaching and optional winder.

The versatile and most advanced 500 series model for demanding professional photography 

The 503CW is the reliable tool for all discerning photographers. The built-in TTL flash metering system, which automatically measures the light off the film for consistent flash exposures, as well as the option to use the Winder CW, even with remote control, make it convenient to operate in or out of the studio. It is fitted with the Gliding Mirror System (GMS) to provide a full viewfinder image with virtually all lenses, irrespective of focal length. It is compatible with all CF/CFE and CB lenses, film magazines, viewfinders and most current and previous accessories. 

Availble in chrome or black trim and supplied as a separate body or as a kit comprising camera body, lens and film magazine. Weight : body only 610 g ( 1 lb 6 oz), kit 1585 g (3 lb 8 oz).
